Today’s recording is Pokemon Battle Dimension – Pokemon Ranger and the Kidnapped Riolu (Part Two).
Once again, we’re missing almost the whole first half of the programme, so I guess we’re missing Hunter J capturing Riolu, and Ash and friends embarking on a rescue mission. On three-headed Ostrich pokemon. Dodrio, apparently.
Hunter J takes Riolu, who’s frozen in a glass case, to meet with her client who’s paying her to capture it.
He arrives and takes Riolu, but Ash and friends arrive too.
His men fight with a Golem.
The client escapes with Riolu.
He escapes into a cave, and uses Aggron to smash the rocks down, hiding which exit he’s used.
Ranger Kellyn controls a Donphan and Ash tells him which exist to smash, because he has a bond with Riolu, and they find the client, using the Donphan to fight the Aggron.
The client drops Riolu, and Ash frees it from the glass case. You know, even in this silly show that means literally nothing to me, it is all about the hugs.
The other friends have easily taken care of the other bad guys.
Just for a bit of light relief, Team Rocket try to go up against Hunter J’s ship. They don’t do well.
The episode ends with Riolu reunited with his old friend, and Ash returns his wooden figure to him.
Media Centre Description: Ash continues his quest to become the greatest Pokemon trainer ever. He travels through the Sinnoh region, where he is challenged in a number of thrilling battles, and strikes up a friendship with a novice trainer named Dawn.

The recording ends with the start of Power Rangers Jungle Fury.
