Today’s recording is Pokemon Battle Dimension – Chim-Charred.
Ash is battling with Paul, the miserable Pokemon trainer they keep cutting to in various episodes. He’s still miserable.
First it’s Ash’s Gligar against Paul’s Gliscor.
Then Paul brings out an Ursaring.
Chimchar asks to fight, but when the Ursaring uses secret power, it triggers something off in Chimchar and unleashes Blaze.
But even after he wins, he’s still ablaze and bouncing around, setting fire to the forest.
Piplup and Buizel have to use water moves to put out the fires.
Ash has to grab Chimchar to tell him he can stop now.
It takes a while, but he finally calms down.
Paul asks Ash “You really think you’ll be able to control that?” “Who knows, I sure don’t yet. But if anyone can, Chimchar can, no doubt!”
