In the clip for Blood Oath I spotted a very young Russell Crowe.
There’s a location report on Michael Palin’s new film American Friends.

The next episode is missing its opening, and has the following reviews:

BBC Genome: BBC One – 19th March 1991 – 23:30

Then, a special edition of Film 91, look at this year’s Oscars. The big winner was Kevin Costner (second day running) and Dances with Wolves. It’s a bit weird hearing the filmmakers talk about the film, and keep saying ‘Indians’ instead of Native Americans.

Before the next episode, there’s the end of an episode of Kinsey, not about the sex researcher, but about a solicitor.
There’s a trailer for programmes on Wednesday.
Then, back to the regular format for Film 91 and Berry’s reviews of the following films:
There’s a special report on Aardman Animation, following Nick Park’s recent win at the Oscars.
BBC Genome: BBC One – 2nd April 1991 – 22:20
The next episode sees Barry cast his critical eye on the following films:
Tom Brook reports on the success of Silence of the Lambs.
BBC Genome: BBC One – 9th April 1991 – 22:20
The last episode here sees a change from the advertised programme. After the news that Sir David Lean had died that day, the programme was a tribute, consisting mostly of the interview Barry did from 1988.
BBC Genome: BBC One – 16th April 1991 – 22:20
The tape ends right after this episode.
