Clive Anderson Talks Back – tape 1355

Well, here’s an interesting anomaly (to me and me alone, I suspect). When I looked up this tape in my online tape database, I got an error page. For some reason, the tape number that was (apparently) on the tape isn’t logged in my database. I have occasionally mistyped tape numbers when doing the digitising, which I have to correct, but this appears to be the first instance of a tape that was never logged in the first place. Weird.

Anyway, here’s some Clive Anderson Talks Back. The first guest is Rory Bremner.

Then Dudley Moore

Cheekily, the first advert in the ad break after this interview is a Tesco advert with Moore.

After the break, the guest is Neil Kinnock

In the next episode, the guests are Thea Vidale

She shares the most intimate part of her being with Clive

Next guest is Harry Carpenter

Clive grills him a lot on the physical dangers of boxing, and he’s very defensive about it.

And the final guest, following Dudley Moore last week, is Peter Cook.

The next episode features Paul Daniels.

Thatcher’s press secretary Bernard Ingham

Bernard Ingham

And Joan Rivers

This was the last episode of the series. Afterwards, there’s the start of an episode of The Word.

It opens with Dani Behr. “I’m somewhere in England, and later one of our viewers will be winning this pair of Marky Mark underpants.”

The recording stops shortly into it, and underneath there’s Jimi Hendrix playing guitar. It’s Mojo Working.

After this, recording continues with an old film, Thunder Rock. The tape ends during this film.
