The tape opens with Richard O’Brien introducing the Mystery Train, and an episode of Kolchak The Night Stalker.
In Firefall people keep spontaneously combusting, and a world famous conductor is seen at the scene, despite also being seen elsewhere at exactly the same time. A doppelganger, the spirit of another dead man, has attached himself to the conductor, and it’s up to Kolchak to sort things out.

The Devil’s Platform stars Tom Skerritt as a corrupt politician. People around him start dying, often attacked by a strange dog. Maybe he’s made a pact with the devil?

The next episode is The Sentry, and there’s some kind of giant reptile lurking underneath Chicago. Guest appearance by Tom Bosley off of Happy Days.
The reptile is mostly kept in the dark, which is probably a wise choice.

Following this episode, there’s a Will Vinton claymation short, The Great Cognito. Very impressive.
The tape is ended by the first fifty minutes of The Day The World Ended.
