Spin City – Stuff the White Rabbit – Roseanne – Absolutely Fabulous – tape 2362

This one looks like a mixtape, with some nuggets. Here we go.

First – end credits for a sitcom I can’t recall, then a trailer for The Girlie Show, and a trailer for ER. After the ads, there’s a trailer for Dark Skies. Then, a trailer for Last Chance Lottery, a gameshow with (I think) Patrick Kielty.

Then we have an episode of Spin City. This predates the last tape we watched, as Michael J Fox’s character is still going out with Carla Gugino. It’s actually the third episode, The Apartment.

After this, recording switches, and it’s the end of that sitcom again. More credits, though, so I can discover it’s called Dressing for Breakfast.

There’s another trailer for Last Chance Lottery, this time with actual footage from the show. Then a trailer for ER.

Then a trailer for Brass Eye – the Drugs episode. Brilliant.

Then a trailer for The Show with Bob Mills.

Then, Spin City again. This episode is Pride and Prejudice.

Another recording switch, another ER trailer, another Last Chance Lottery trailer. Then, to ring the changes, a trailer for Cutting Edge: Bounty Hunter.

Then, a Shining inflected trailer for the Johnny Vaughan show Here’s Johnny.

Then, the next episode of Spin CityThe Rivals.

Following this, recording switches yet again, to a trailer for NBA 24/7. A trailer for Dark Skies. Then the Here’s Johnny trailer again.

Then, more Spin City. This episode is A Star Is Born.

After this, recording switches, this time to a programme in progress. It’s John Lenahan on Stuff the White Rabbit, the ‘edgy’ magic show.

The Amazing Johnathan does the ‘Butcher’s Knife through the arm’ trick.

Jerry Sadowitz does some close-up magic.

Edit: My video for this was taken down by Jerry Sadowitz, Ho hum.

Next, back to Channel 4, with another bit of Dressing for Dinner. Then trailers for: Caroline in the CityShop ‘Til You DropDark SkiesIndoor Athletics.

Then, more Spin City. This episode is Grand Illusion.

Following this, there’s a trailer for The Show. Then a trailer for Cutting Edge: The Bed. The trailer for Indoor Athletics again. And a slightly longer trailer for Here’s Johnny.

Then, an episode of Roseanne. This is in Season 9 when Roseanne had won the lottery, and is co-written by Roseanne and Jennifer Saunders. Roseanne and Jackie attend a swanky New York party. The great Mo Gaffney guest stars.

And the reason Jennifer Saunders is a co-writer – a guest appearance from Patsy and Eddy from Absolutely Fabulous.

There’s also a Rosemary’s Baby parody

After this episode we switch to the end of Caroline in the City. There’s a trailer for ER. One for Last Chance Lottery. And another Dark Skies trailer. Then a trailer for Turning World and The Handmaid’s Tale.

Then, more Spin City. This is The High and the Mighty, guest starring George Wendt.

Following this episode there’s a trailer for The Show. Then a trailer for John Boorman’s Hope and Glory.  And a trailer for Cutting Edge: Parental Choice. Plus one for Love Life.

Then, another episode of Roseanne, but there’s only about 8 minutes of this one before the tape ends.

  1. Hi, are you able to share bits of the recordings? I’m interested in Stuff the White Rabbit, I have 4 programmes but in particular I would like John Lenahan’s ‘Giant Card’ Routine as pictured on ‘tape 2362’ page. Can you help, thanks.
